Welcome to The Push: A Pregnancy Neurology Podcast. The Push is a case-based curriculum created in 2017, aimed at teaching clinicians about neurological disorders in pregnancy. Go ahead and click on any episode - you will find an audio story, with patient and expert interviews, and a parallel written case with review of the literature and references, in case you want to learn more! While you will learn from both the written and the audio versions, please note that they are not the same. While The Push is targeted towards doctors in training, we feel that anyone who wants to gain comfort with the treatment of these neurological conditions in pregnancy may benefit from a listen or a glance through. Please note that this curriculum was created in 2017, and so while basic management principles are up to date, there have been treatment guideline advances in a few areas (stroke, migraine, epilepsy) since these podcasts were created. If you want to learn more, check out the more up to date American Academy of Neurology resources!
*All patient interviews use "fake names" and no identifying information! And all participants gave written permission.
